A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS...


What would a retrospective on my (nearly) 40 years on this earth be without looking at a few of my favorite things? So, here I present my favorite things, in no particular order…

9.    Spontaneous College Memory: Packing a car load of people into my ’92 Geo Prism and driving from Williamsburg, KY to Middlesboro, KY to Virginia, starting at midnight on a Saturday night and returning to Williamsburg around 4am

12. Movies: “Steel Magnolias” “Philadelphia” and“Sleepless in Seattle”

13. Desert/Bakery: Cupcakes with Butter cream Icing from Edgar’s Bakery in Birmingham

16. Chain Restaurant: The Cheesecake Factory

17. Fast Food Restaurant: Chick-fil-A (yeah, I’m gay, don’t hate…)

32. Favorite Personal Characteristic: My handwriting

33. Writing Utensil: Depends on the mood, currently it is a gel pen, but for more than 20 years I have been a fan of the Pilot V5 Rolling Ball pen

Here’s my confession: I don’t think I really need a confession for this posting, but I’ll confess it was a fun exercise. There are probably some things that will be surprising, but maybe not. There were some favorites suggested to me, that I couldn’t answer: Holiday, Singer, Tradition, Broadway Musical, Musical Expression… I could have probably made a longer list, but after all, it is a few of my favorite things…
